Description Lex Mercatoria was the first website dedicated to a particular area of law, namely international commercial/trade law

The primary area of interest remains international commercial law and international trade law, and electronic commerce and (mostly open standard) Net technologies, with additional coverage of international environmental law, the bio-sciences, international criminal law.

The Lex Mercatoria presents the full texts and where relevant country implementation details of several of the most important conventions and other documents used in international trade and commerce. These materials are presented by subject, chronologically, and has information pages on trade related organisations.
