Description:ASA specializes in offering programs that balance traditional academic preparation with professional training and hands-on experience. Students in Criminal Justice (A.A.S.) certificate programs will be exposed to the wide scope of criminal justice as well as a balance presentation of the issues in this field. Graduates will be well equipped to provide input on policies and programs and to assume productive roles in the criminal justice system in public and private organizations. The structure of the curriculum and the related learning objectives will be consistent with published standards of the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences (ACJS), a national professional society.
