Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers of New Jersey
The Association was established in 1985 and has since become the primary organized voice for the criminal defense bar in New Jersey. It was formed, among other reasons, to respond to the continuing problems confronting criminal defense lawyers when they honestly, ethically, but zealously represent their clients; to protect and insure compliance with those individual rights guaranteed by the New Jersey and United States Constitutions; and to encourage cooperation among criminal defense lawyers engaged in the furtherance of those objectives.


Colorado Criminal Defense Bar
The Colorado Criminal Defense Bar is a growing professional association of attorneys, investigators, and paralegals who represent persons accused of crime. The CCDB was founded by a handful in 1979. Today, the CCDB has over 800 members. The CCDB and its Members are professionals of principle and dedicated to protecting the rights of the accused. The CCDB supports an active professional network, an excellent defense training program, 10 chapters statewide, and numerous public and member services.


Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers
The Mission of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers is to be the unified voice of an inclusive criminal defense community; to promote excellence in the practice of criminal law; to improve the criminal justice system at the judicial, legislative and executive levels; to insure the integrity and independence of the criminal defense lawyer; to promote the protection of the rights of individuals.


Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers
The mission of GACDL is to promote fairness and justice through member education, services and support, public outreach, and a commitment to quality representation for all.


Louisiana Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers
Website of Louisiana Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (LACDL). The Louisiana Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, founded in 1985 by criminal defense lawyers, for criminal defense lawyers, is an active organization of almost 400 members.


Maryland Criminal Defense Attorneys' Association
The Maryland Criminal Defense Attorneys' Association was formed to promote study and research in the field of criminal defense law and the related areas; to disseminate by lecture, seminars and publications the advance of the knowledge of the law as it relates to the field of criminal defense practice; to promote the proper administration of justice; to foster, maintain and encourage the integrity, independence and expertise of the defense lawyer in criminal cases; and, to foster periodic meetings of the defense lawyers and to provide a forum for the material exchange of information regarding the administration of criminal justice and thereby concern itself with the protection of individual rights and the improvement of criminal law, its practice and procedures.


Massachusetts Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers
MACDL is the only statewide association of lawyers in Massachusetts devoted exclusively to serving the defense bar. MACDL provides information, support and, a strong, credible voice for defense lawyers.

National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers
The National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL) is the preeminent organization in the United States advancing the mission of the nation's criminal defense lawyers to ensure justice and due process for persons accused of crime or other misconduct. A professional bar association founded in 1958, NACDL's more than 12,800 direct members - and 94 state, local, and international affiliate organizations with another 35,000 members - include private criminal defense lawyers, public defenders, active U.S. military defense counsel, law professors and judges committed to preserving fairness within America's criminal justice system.


New York State Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys
The NYSACDL was formed in 1986 by a group of criminal defense lawyers who felt it was time to speak in a unified voice about criminal defense issues in New York State. The NYSACDL is the largest private criminal bar association in New York State.


Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers
OACDL's mission is to defend the rights secured by law of persons accused of the commission of the criminal offense; to educate and promote research in the field of criminal defense law and the related areas; to instruct and train attorneys through lectures, seminars and publications for the purpose of developing and improving their capabilities; to promote the advancement of knowledge of the law as it relates to the protection of the rights of persons accused of criminal conduct; to foster, maintain and encourage the integrity, independence and expertise of criminal defense lawyers through the presentation of accredited Continuing Legal Education programs.


Oregon Criminal Defense Lawyers Association
OCDLA guards against the erosion of all citizens' rights, protecting and strengthening the constitution, improving the administration of justice, and promoting public awareness of the function and duties of criminal defense practitioners. OCDLA also provides continuing legal education, formal and informal networking, legislative action, and produces manuals, publications, including the Oregon Defense Attorney newsletter, and email lists.


Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association
The Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association (TCDLA) is the largest state association for criminal defense attorneys in the nation. TCDLA started more than 35 years ago as a small, non-profit association and has grown into a state-of-the-art organization, providing assistance, support and continuing education to its members. TCDLA provides a statewide forum for criminal defense lawyers and is the voice in the legislature interested in basic fairness in criminal defense cases. TCDLA hosts more than 40 seminars each year, providing the highest quality legal education available for new lawyers, as well as seasoned veterans.


Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers
WACDL is committed to promoting the proper administration of criminal justice; fostering and maintaining the integrity, independence and expertise of the defense lawyer in criminal cases; and encouraging an unyielding concern for the protection of individual rights and due process.
