Illinois Court Reporters Association
The mission of Illinois Court Reporters Association is to maintain standards of excellence in verbatim shorthand reporting, to provide continuing educational opportunities and advocate technological advancements, and to promote a spirit of mutual assistance between the profession of verbatim shorthand reporting and its consumers.
Indiana Shorthand Reporters Association
ISRA's mission is to establish and maintain a proper standard of proficiency in the profession of shorthand reporting; to establish and maintain a proper standard of professional competence, performance, and ethics; to foster professional and social contacts among its members.

The mission of the Minnesota Association of Verbatim Reporters & Captioners (MAVRC) is to create an understanding of the role of verbatim stenographic reporters and stenocaptioners, and communication access realtime translation (CART) providers; and to promote and ensure that they are the preferred professionals who, through education, training, state-of-the-art technology and high professional and ethical standards, capture and manage the record.

Washington Court Reporters Association
The mission of the Washington Court Reporters Association is to promote the profession of court reporting. It is the objective of this professional association to maintain a membership base composed of court reporters, Communication Access Realtime Translators (CART), and captioners whose values are consistent with the ethical standards promulgated by the NCRA Code of Professional Ethics. WCRA represents its members in the state legislature on issues impacting court reporting, CART, and captioning.
