Dallas Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators
The Dallas Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators was established in 1973 and has over 180 members that represent private practice firms as well as in-house legal departments in the Dallas area. The Dallas Chapter provides educational opportunities to Chapter Members. At the bi-monthly general meeting as well as at the section meetings, members are given an opportunity to exchange experiences and ideas in an informal setting. Guest speaker topics range from finance and technology to human resource issues, facilities management, and personal growth.
East Bay Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators
The East Bay Chapter is dedicated to providing valuable information to current and prospective ALA members, lawyers, vendors, consultants and others who have an interest in the legal management profession.
First State Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators
The First State Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators was chartered in 1979 and today has over 50 members throughout Delaware. The membership is comprised of large and small private law firms as well as corporate and governmental legal departments. The goal of the Association is to provide personal and professional growth and educational and networking opportunities to administrators and legal managers.

Through better management and support, administrators and attorneys can work together to provide quality services while maximizing profits for their firms.

Golden Gate Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators
The Golden Gate Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators was formed in 1977 to provide a forum for the growing number of professionals in the field of law office administration in the San Francisco Bay Area. Greater Cincinnati Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators
The Greater Cincinnati Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators has a vibrant long-term history and currently includes over 40 members throughout the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky metropolitan area with a mission to promote the exchange of information regarding the administration and management problems within legal organizations and to promote continuing education programs for its members.
Greater Los Angeles Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators
The Greater Los Angeles Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators (GLA ALA) was chartered in 2003 and currently has over 350 members throughout the Los Angeles metro area. This chapter was formed by combining the former Los Angeles and Beverly Hills Chapters. This new Chapter provides a dynamic force within the community for the support of our members, as well as strong representation at ALA's regional and International levels.
Hampton Roads Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators
The Hampton Roads Chapter was chartered in September 1979, and today has about 34 active members representing law firms, corporate legal departments, and government agencies throughout the Tidewater region of Virginia.
Hawaii Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators
The Hawaii Chapter was established in 1974 to enhance and promote the quality of management in legal service organizations in Hawaii. The Chapter is comprised of over 35 members who represent approximately 30 law firms in Hawaii. The Chapter conducts monthly membership meetings which are educational in focus. Speakers address topics that are pertinent to managing today’s legal service organizations. Meetings are normally held at a downtown law firm during the lunch hour and often include a presentation by a vendor partner. The Chapter also promotes local and national educational programs.
Houston Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators
The Houston Chapter is one of the oldest and largest Chapters of ALA, chartered in 1974 and incorporated in 1984. The membership includes a diverse group of legal professionals committed to advancing the profession of legal administration through education and networking. Members have the opportunity to attend monthly meetings focusing on topics specific to the legal industry or to enhance skills necessary to manage successful law firms. Both formal and informal networking opportunities, such as vendor partnering events, chapter retreats and community challenge projects are offered throughout the year.

Independence Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators
The Independence Chapter currently has a membership of more than 90 members, including representatives from firms with various size practices, covering Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Lehigh and Montgomery Counties. The Independence Chapter provides newsletters, monthly brown bag meetings, an annual vendor expo and many more. The Independence Chapter provides support to many local and national charitable organizations including Smile Train, Ronald McDonald House and the Crime Victims Center of Chester County.
